Think Before you Eat

Good evening!

I've always been a fairly skinny girl who could barely get over 110 lbs. Recently with the medicine I take, I've noticed my weight fluctuates around 125 lbs. So I've definitely filled out a little. And, unfortunately, you can see it all in my face. I used to have a bony, slim face and now it's round. And of course, you can't hide your face! So needless to say, I have to really watch what I eat. I try to stick to 3 meals a day, and if I have to, healthy snacks in between. It's challenging because I have never had to watch what I eat or think twice about eating candy and junk food. It's also challenging because the steroids turn my stomach into a bottomless pit! I swear I'm ALWAYS hungry. Like literally I can eat a full meal (meat and two sides) and like an hour later, I could have the same plate again. So I have to deny myself food so I don't gain too many extra pounds. I'm trying to keep my petite figure! One thing I've started to do is always leave room for desert. It's like distraction, if I know I'm going to have a delicious desert, I can skip an extra serving of whatever I'm eating. I tell you one thing, with all of this stuff, you really do have to find what works best for you and stick with it.

Tonight when I was in between jobs, I thought it'd be harmless to stop at a fast food place to get some fries for a snack. Bad idea! I've been feeling queasy since I ate it. Then again I haven't had this specific fast food place in months, maybe since the summer. Not sure how I thought that was a good idea... Smh. I will not do that again.

Stay Positive : )

SN: the picture I attached was pre-steroids so my face was thinner...
